Last year, Nepal was hit by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake. The epi center was Gorkha district and killed around 9,000 people, injured more than 20,000, left more than 2 million homeless and damaged over 900 health facilities and 8,300 schools.
Immediate after the quake NAMUNA took initiation and started relief works in Gorkha where provided tarpaulin, blanket, food and other accessories to the victims. Also in cooperation of other like-minded organizations such as Universal College of Medical Science, Indo-Nepal Doctors' Association arranged Medical camps in Nuwakot, Dhading, Dolakha and Sindhupalchowk districts.
