The 'NAMUNA Handicraft House' (नमुना कोसेली घर) house is established with the aim to provide capacity building, economic empowerment, livelihood and enterpreneurship support to the Vulnerable communities, which includes Poor, marginalised, conflict affected, HIV positive women and men respectively.
For the purpose, NAMUNA established 2 outlets (shops) at Gautam Buddha Airport and NAMUNA's own office building. The products mainly consists of hand made items, which are produced through waste materials collected from land, farms and forests. The ultimate products are containers (dhakiya, pen stand, chapti containers, rubbish containers and tea mets etc), cloths made of pure cotton, caps, bags (various designs) sarees and various home decoration types of items.
The products are handmade, unique and made of all local raw materials. All such items was not available in the local market previously.
